Safety and security are the most important focuses at The Magellan Academies. Each center features a pediatrics trained nurse on staff who monitors the health of each child, tends to their bumps and bruises, checks for proper sanitation in all classrooms and food service areas, and trains the teachers in First Aid, CPR and SIDS.

Our Director of Safety, Sanitation and Health is a nurse, as is our company president, and she heads our Safety Council, which reviews all incidents and mishaps and makes recommendations for improvements to our operating procedures, if needed.
